Agricola Agorà was founded in Ozzano Monferrato in 2018 to devote itself to the cultivation of olives and the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, an ancient tradition of the area which was lost due to the stiffening of the climate and the change of the consumption.
On over 5 hectares between the hills of Ozzano Monferrato and Piancerreto, with almost 2000 plants, in 2020 it was pressed the first Extra Virgin Olive Oil with excellent properties and organoleptic evaluations.
For the utmost respect of the environment, the company does not use weeding and from 2020 it has begun the conversion to organic.
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil SMERALDO, with a green and bright color like the precious stone, a symbol of hope, growth, renewal for Monferrato, considered a regenerating and antioxidant due to the strong presence of polyphenols and very low acidity, surprises for the organoleptic properties marked on the bitter – spicy taste.
The cultivars used are: Leccino, Pendolino, Coratina, Frantoio, Moraiolo.
The pressing oil mill in Trino (Vc) operates since 2021.
Agricola Agorà with the pressing of its own olives is the first company in Piedmont to have the complete supply chain of the product: from the planting of the olive trees and the care in their growth, to the hand picking and cold pressing within 24 hours, bottling and sale of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The company also provides third-party processing of crushing and bottling for Piedmontese producers.
